Rock Bass, trout, large mouth, and pikes all are waiting for you to dangle dinner in front of them and, if you are lucky, you may be able to make them your dinner! Once again our boats will take us along the famed Long Lake, Tupper Lake canoe route into the heart of the Adirondacks. Sleeping in tents or lean tos, getting up early or casting the line in late will add to your camp memories.

Master the art of sailing in our Sunfish or Holder sailboats. You and seven others will enjoy allowing the wind to carry you where ever you wish on beautiful Sacandaga Lake. You will stay in Fowler's Wilderness Lean-to area, though your group may decide to sail off to spend a night on a distant shore!

This summer we are going to rediscover backpacking as one of our most favorite activities to do at Fowler. Join us as we explore the West Canada Wilderness: one of the Adirondack's most wild and wonderful regions.

#34/44 Canoe Odyssey 2 WEEK Out Camp • (grades 9-12) NEW • $720

This is our most challenging trip. Journey with your comrades from the northern section of the St Regis Canoe Area, traveling over 120 miles with over 5 miles of carries to come out in Blue Mtn Lake.
This trip will reward you with memories that will help shape the rest of your life.
#42 Kayaking • (grades 9-12) • $360
July 15 - 21
This trip is reserved only for our senior high campers, many of whom have taken one or more wilderness trips before. The joy of skimming across Adirondack Lakes in kayaks is one to be remembered for a lifetime. Your route will take you north of the Saranac Lakes through the Adirondack's most wild and beautiful canoe area.
July 22 - 28
Based out of the Wilderness Area with its two log lean-tos, you and a small group will become close as you spend your days hiking and canoeing in the area. You will even spend an overnight in the Adirondack back country.

You will start at Fowler, getting to know your new friends and gear. Monday you will hit the water, transporting all you need with you for the 5 day trip: tents, food, etc. There will be times when you will even have to portage your canoe between lakes. This will be a challenging and rewarding trip for all who come.
August 5-11
For those of us who don't want to have to decide whether to backpack or canoe. This is one of most popular trips and a great way to discover the joy of both of these activities. One group will start out in canoes and meet up with the other group who have been backpacking. Then the groups will switch modes of transportation half way through the week.

This week is for GIRLS ONLY!! Girls who want to get out into the woods and take on the challenges and triumphs together. This is a special week of bonding and growing.
