At Camp Fowler's Aquatic School, students will be taught by experienced Red Cross - certified volunteer instructors. This is an opportunity to learn your skills in an ideal setting, working alongside some of the best instructors in the Northeast!
Facilities
All courses are taught at Camp Fowler, located in the southern Adirondack mountains just outside of Speculator, New York. All training will be conducted in Sacandaga Lake either at Fowler or Moffitt Beach.

Attendance
Attendance and full participation for each class is mandatory. The compact schedule does not allow for make up sessions. There are no exceptions to our attendance policy. Plan to attend every class and arrive on time.
Payment
Full payment is due within 10 days of registering for the course. If you register within ten days of the course beginning, you must bring the check with you and pay before you take your test. All checks are to be made out to "Camp Fowler" and sent to our business office at:

Accommodations
This year's students will be housed in Fowler's Chi Rho House. Students will be bunked 2-3 per room. Bedding and linens are provided. All meals will be in Fenimore Hall.
Refund/Cancellation Policy
If your course is canceled due to insufficient enrollment, you may choose to apply your course fees to another scheduled class, or receive a full refund. If you cancel your registration prior to June 1, a refund is available (less $50 non-refundable administrative fee). No refund if notification is received after June 1.
All courses are offered on first come - first served basis. Fowler's Aquatics School will provide great instruction for small groups to give you the best training available

Get the Red Cross training you need for employment as a lifeguard at a pool or beach! Includes instruction in waterfront lifeguard skills and first aid and CPR/AED for the professional rescuer.

Camp Fowler requires the following for students under the age of 18.
Because Fowler is a children's camp and there are others who will be on the grounds concurrent with the Aquatics training, the following rules will need to be agreed to and adhered to by all who are part of the Aquatics program. Failure to do so may jeopardize your participation in the course.
