Camp Fowler is committed to helping all children who desire, attend Camp Fowler regardless of financial circumstances. Three options for assistance/aid/scholarships are listed below.Please review carefully as some restrictions apply. Questions may be directed to 518-374-4573 extension 13 or campfowler@rca.org.

 Three options are available to help get your child to camp.

1 | Church Scholarships

Apply directly to your church for scholarship assistance. The church can either pay you or send the scholarship payment directly to Camp Fowler. Unless you have set this up with your church prior to the opening day of registration you will not be able to register online at that time, as a $100 non-refundable deposit is required. You do have the option to pay the registration fee yourself and have the church reimburse you directly.

ONLINE registration is the quickest and most efficient way to register your child insuring a chance for a spot in the camp week of their choice. Secure ONLINE registration can be done with a check or a credit card.

Do not apply to Camp Fowler for your church scholarship: we are not involved in this process.

2 | Coeymans Scholarship Fund

This fund is available for application for any child, church affiliated or not who really wishes to come and attend Camp Fowler but simply can not afford it. This is a needs based fund with a formal application process. The process includes completing an application, completing a paper camper registration form for Camp Fowler and submitting both forms to the fund comittee via mail for a full scholarship. Full scholarships do not guarantee specific camp week registrations and are subject to availability at the time the scholarship payment and camper registration are recieved in the Camp Fowler business office.

The fund also offers partial scholarships. Partial scholarships are for those who can afford the non-refundable registration fee of $100 and register their child ONLINE and then submit a completed scholarship application (with out the paper camp registration) to the fund via mail.

Those who receive this scholarship are not eligible for Fowler Financial Aid.

3 | Financial Aid From Camp Fowler

Camp Fowler helps provide assistance to those with financial need. A simple application process is involved and required for consideration. Our funds are limited and we ask that only those with true financial need apply. Our aid can be used in conjunction with church scholarships but not with the Coeymans fund. We do appreciate parental involvement in the balance due even if it is a very small amount. If you require full financial aid on the camp fee, please apply to the Coeymans fund.

Financial need can be defined as:

1. Recent loss of income due to: illness, loss of employment, medical disability, single parent income etc.
2. Total family income below $50,000.

Should your personal circumstances not meet the above criteria for financial aid, you may apply with a detailed description of your situation. Use the Financial Aid form for your submission.

Our aid doesn't guarantee specific camp weeks and is subject to camp week availability.
